Eva Codó, (eva.codo@uab.cat), is Senior Lecturer of English and Linguistics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is currently Vicedean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Deputy President of the Catalan Sociolinguistics Society. Her main research interests include multilingualism in institutional settings; language, migration and social exclusion; and the sociolinguistics of English as a contact language in Spain. She is currently PI of a funded research project on the Englishisation of the Catalan educational system (see Research for further information). She publishes regularly in the main peer-reviewed journals of her field. She authored a monograph that was published by Mouton de Gruyter in 2008.
