Melissa G. Moyer, (melissa.moyer@uab.cat), is Associate Professor of English Linguistics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She leads the CIEN Research Group and is the Principal Investigador of HUM2011-26964/FILO on Multilingualism  and Mobility and of SGR-1508 (Recognition of the CIEN research group with funding from the Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca-AGAUR).  She is also the principal investigator of the subproject Multilingual practices in recruiting processes (it belongs to the project Las mudas lingüísticas: una aproximación etnográfica a los nuevos hablantes en Europa- FFi201567232-C1). Her current research is concerned with language and work and language and mobility.
