The Research Group on Economic Geography was created in 1993 within the Department of Geography(Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and during all these years it has developed research on several fields of Economic Geography: industry location factors and location theory, knowledge economy and innovative cities, gender and economical development, and air transport.
