Abstract:
Innovative methodologies in the social sciences have been discussed by professors from the USA and the egolab-GRAFO team
The professors Ted Mouw (University of North Carolina, EEUU) and M. Giovanna Merli (Duke Center for Population Research, EEUU), have visited the Autonomous University of Barcelona to participate in a seminar about RDS-Link tracing methods in transnational studies. This innovative methodology is being used within the ORBITS project by the egolab-GRAFO team. It analyses the role of transnational social fields in the emergence, maintenance and decay of ethnic and demographic enclaves. For more info please visit the project website.
