Jordi Riba is a Professor of Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a visiting professor at the University of Paris, of which he is an associate member of its Research laboratory “Logiques contemporaines de la philosophie“. His current research focuses on the role of philosophy in the study of emerging democratic forms. He has published, among other titles, Republicanismo sin república, (Barcelona: Bellaterra, 2014), La Fraternité réveillée, (París: Harmattan, 2016), Alain Badiou: la política, l’allò polític (Barcelona: Gedisa, 2018) and Un nouveau regard sur la solidarité, (Paris: Harmattan), coming soon.
