The DEC workshop aims to bring together junior and senior scholars working on cutting-edge research on political behavior and public opinion. We seek contributions that address important questions of our time, employ diverse theoretical perspectives, and/or use innovative methodological approaches.
This two-day event will take place in person at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. We aim for a set of about 10 papers that will be presented and thoroughly discussed in a workshop format, allowing for more time than the standard conference format. Selected participants are asked to submit a draft paper in advance, prepare a presentation, and provide feedback on papers from their fellow panelists.
There is no registration fee. Travel and accommodation support for early career researchers (Ph.D. students and Postdocs within three years of Ph.D.) will be offered on a competitive basis for presenting authors without access to funding and in line with university regulations.
