Martina Tomeo is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Pisa. She holds a master’s degree in Sociology and Social Services Management and has several years of experience in the evaluation of social and educational interventions. Her doctoral research focuses on the mechanisms that reproduce or transform educational inequalities, with particular attention to students with a migration background. Her work combines qualitative analysis and agent-based modelling, drawing on the framework of analytical sociology. Is member of VoisLab, where she contributes to research on impact evaluation and policy design.
