Àlex G. de la Prada is a researcher at Institut Metròpoli since 2024 (Barcelona, Spain). He holds a PhD in Analytical Sociology (2021) from the Institute for Analytical Sociology at Linköping University (Norrköping, Sweden) and was a post-doc at Bremen University (2022-2024) (Bremen, Germany). His focus uses top-tier quantitative methods to untangle how segregation patterns emerge from individuals’ decisions and their consequences on individual outcomes using large-scale data, simulation techniques, and mathematical modeling.
