Chara Papioti

Chara is a Barcelona GSE Post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics and Economic History of Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). Her main research interests lie in the field of Applied Microeconomic Theory, mainly Auction Theory, Political Economy and Financial Economics. She teaches undergraduate Microeconomics as well as graduate Mathematics for Economists at the IDEA graduate program of Economics in UAB.

She obtained her PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy, under the supervision of Massimo Morelli and Andrea Mattozzi. She holds an Msc in Economic Theory and an undergraduate degree in International and European Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
