Along with scientific contributions to the logistics modeling, simulation and optimization, LogiSim aims to transfer its technology to give a proper answer to the operational and strategic decision making in industrial and transportation activities. The LogiSim Center for Simulation and Optimization of Logistics Systems is mainly focused on development of Simulation Models to improve decision making in the Logistics, Production and Services Industry.
The LogiSim Center for Simulation and Optimization of Logistics Systems belongs to the Technological Innovations Network (IT Network). This Network was set up through an agreement between the Center for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM), of the Catalonia Autonomous Government Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism (DICT) and the department of Universities, Research and Information Society. The Network of Support Centers of Technological Innovation is made up of research groups able to give services of technological innovation to the industry.
