In order to improve and continue offering our clients high quality technical services, the LREC defines actions to achieve increased efficiency and effectiveness of their activities. Our efforts are direct to:

  • Regular check to ensure continual improvement.
  • Participate in the annual intercomparison of reference laboratories exercise organized by the IFCC and coordinated by the Committee on Traceability in Laboratory Medicine (C-TLM) in collaboration with the JCTLM (IFCC Ring Trials for Reference Laboratories, RELA). All laboratories results are published in the IFCC-RELA website.

  • Improve the measurement uncertainty of enzyme catalytic concentration results. The laboratory has estimated its uncertainty budget for each enzyme measurement procedure.
