The Clinical Enzymology Reference Laboratory (LREC) of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona was created in 2005, it is recognized as Services Supplier Laboratory (LPS) and Grup de Recerca Singular.
The laboratory was created with the aim to collaborate with the international organizations for standardization in the development of reference measurement procedures and enzymes reference materials in the field of clinical laboratories.
