Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the experience of implementing an interdisciplinary activity that combines music and mathematics as part of the Comenius European Music Portfolio: Sounding ways into Mathematics project. The activity was carried out in four schools where members of the Musicomàtics group of teachers are working, a group which aims to develop and implement crosscutting activities involving these two disciplines. Apart from describing the activity, we present the reflections made by each participating school in their answers to a questionnaire prepared by the working group coordinators. This joint assessment serves to strengthen activities and develop strategies to create new ones, while also identifying common features in the activities linking music and mathematics.
