In the field of training it is important to emphasize that working with experimental animals requires graduate training in fields that are now crucial for the advancement of biomedical research, such as animal welfare and the use of appropriate animal models.

SIAL participates and guides companies in selecting appropriate training for its personnel in respect of courses for  caretaker (A) and experimenter (B). The main partnership is with Harlan Laboratories, a leading international CRO located in Catalonia.

SIAL also runs its own Laboratory Animal Science (LAS) courses. These courses are methodological, technologically advanced and provided by recognized international professionals from a range of areas. The training is aimed at professionals from both public and private research institutions and serves as a contact point for further collaborations in research and development projects.
