This page gives an overview of the Carolingian and Post-Carolingian manuscripts from ninth- to twelfth-century Catalonia and Septimania we deal with in our Barcelona HERA-Project “From Carolingian Periphery to European Central Region: The Written Genesis of Catalonia” (see also the sections Maps, Archives and libraries and Publications on this page). The overview mentions Carolingian authors and works and gives the related manuscripts with a short description of origin, date, content, history and bibliography.
