Dr Elisabet Pladevall-Ballester, Co-investigator, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Dept of English and Germanic Studies)
I hold an MA in Linguistics from University College London and a PhD in English Language and Linguistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I currently work as an Associate Professor (Professora Agregada Interina) in the Departament de Filologia Anglesa i Germanística at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
My research interests include child and adult Second Language Acquisition in bilingual immersion and instructed classroom contexts and more recently, in CLIL contexts in primary education. I am currently leading the research group EFLIC (English as a Foreign Language in Instruction Contexts) and I teach English Grammar and Teaching Methodology at the undergraduate level and CLIL in the department’s MA program.
