Brief summary of research interests:

Andrea Roxana Bellot is Associate Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, specializing in modern and contemporary literature, with a particular focus on representations of war and conflict. Her research explores the intersections of memory, trauma, and narrative in postwar fiction, theatre, and cultural discourse.
Her work critically examines how war is remembered, narrated, and transmitted across generations and geographies, focusing especially on the Falklands/Malvinas War. She is particularly interested in how literature, theatre, and media engage with the voices of veterans, children, and peripheral communities to contest dominant historical narratives. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, contributing to the fields of war studies, postmemory, cultural studies, and peace education.
