Brief summary of research interests: My main research interest is in Irish and British working-class literature written in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. My most recent work has focused on Roddy Doyle’s novels and short stories, although I have also conducted research on several authors belonging to the Angry Young Men movement. In light of my work on Doyle, I have also expanded my interest in recent Irish literature.
