Prof. Adelina Vallribera received her PhD in Chemistry in 1993 from the UAB under the supervision of Prof. J. Marquet. After a postdoctoral stay at the Laboratoire de Chimie Organique de Synthese in Belgium in the group of Prof. L. Ghosez, she joined the group of Prof. M. Moreno-Mañas in the UAB. She became assistant professor in 1997 in the unit of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the UAB and Full Professor in 2017. Her research interests are focused on fluorous chemistry applied to pharmaceuticals and materials, and on stereoselective methodological transformations.
