Ph.D for the Universitat Autònoma de Bacelona (2016), Master in research in Microelectronics (2009) and Graduated in Computer Science Engineering for the same University. He has authored several publications about scalable reconfigurable plaforms, and embedded parallel programming. Before joining academia he had worked for several private companies. He founded and directed several technology-based companies: Histeresys (1998) and Creanium (2001) and participated as shareholder of other start-ups (Ecomunicat, Mirakonta). He is been lecturing in the Microeletronics and Electronics Systems department from the Engeenering School of UAB since 2001.
He is currently heading the Embedded Systems Unit of the CEPHIS TECNIO research center, which is part of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
