What we are doing in our group?
CompBioNanoCat is an interdisciplinary research team, at the frontier between Organometallic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Biological Chemistry and Computational Chemistry, which carries out the modeling and simulation of complex catalytic processes in close collaboration with internationally recognized experimental and theoretical groups.
Strategic objectives for the coming years include studies in three cutting-edge areas (nanocatalysis, biological chemistry and new pathways in homogeneous catalysis) as well as the methodological developments needed to generate realistic models of metalloenzymes and nanoparticles. It consists of the ChalHetCat, Insilichem, MolBioMed, NanoCat and QuantumGrain subgroups.
