Welcome to Dr Elisabet Pladevall Ballester website. You will find information on my research interests and projects, recent publications and current and past undergraduate and postgraduate teaching responsibilities.
Elisabet Pladevall Ballester holds an MA in Linguistics from University College London and a PhD in English Language and Linguistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is Full Professor in the Departament de Filologia Anglesa i de Germanística at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research interests include child and adult Second Language Acquisition in instructed classroom contexts and also in CLIL and EMI contexts. She is currently leading the funded research group GReLA (2021SGR00684) and co-leading a funded research project on task supported peer interaction and EFL development and engagement among young and adolescent learners in Spain. She teaches English Grammar and Teaching Methodology at the undergraduate level and English Language Teaching in the department’s MA program.
