Latin American Federation of Semiotics Journal (FELS) is committed to increasing visibility and the impact of publications through digital tools.

The magazine deSignis is a biannual publication that, from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective, welcomes studies on the processes of production of meaning in contemporary Latin American societies. The idea of ​​the creation of the journal began to be established between the members of the Federation already in 1999 and was in 2001 when the first committee of writing of the magazine finally met. Since then, the journal has published 22 issues and has three more in progress at the moment. Throughout these years the publications have addressed urban semiotics, multimedia, semiotics of borders or gender, among other aspects.
