Do Chinese students in Spain with a master’s degree or higher have the motivation and intention to immigrate to Spain?
As more and more Chinese students choose to study in Spain, they are also making up a larger percentage of the Chinese community in Spain and, in turn, a large reserve of emigrants to Spain. Through interviews and participant observation, this article attempts to analyze whether Chinese international students in Spain have motivations to emigrate and, if so, what these motivations are. It is hoped to identify the differences in the perceptions of Chinese students graduating from Spain regarding employment and immigration in Spain, based on the motivation theory adopted.
