Pep Vidal

Rubí, Barcelona, ​​1980.

Graduate in Mathematics and PhD in Physics. I work with infinitesimal changes, changes that always occur, everywhere. Imperceptible changes, chains of changes, changes forever… most of them, we neither see nor are aware of them. That’s my workspace.

I combine my artistic practice with that of being a professor of “Optics Laboratory”, in the degree of Physics, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. 

I have shown my work in more than 50 exhibitions, nationally and internationally, among which I would highlight Abrons Arts Center (New York), Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya MNAC (Barcelona), Kunsthaus Baselland (Basel), ISELP Contemporary art center (Brussels), Fundació Joan Miró (Barcelona), CAPC musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux (Bordeaux), CaixaForum (Barcelona) or Fundació Antoni Tàpies (Barcelona). I have done some residencies, among which I would highlight Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, 2018.
