Dr. Josep Cabedo obtained his PhD degree in Physics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2022. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the theory group led by Alessio Celi. He also assists the Ultracold Quantum Gases group at ICFO, led by Leticia Tarruell, as a visiting researcher. His research is focused on engineering schemes for the analog simulation of exotic quantum phenomena with ultracold atomic systems, including fractional statistics, topological gauge theories or frustrated magnetism.
