Fengtao Pang

Fengtao Pang is a joint Ph.D. student working with Prof. Alessio Celi. He comes from the Ultracold Atom Research Group at Shanghai University, where he is supervised by Prof. Yongping Zhang.

His research focuses on the Bogoliubov-de Gennes (BdG) excitations and dynamics of spin-orbit coupled Bose-Einstein condensates (SOC-BEC). Specifically, he specializes in applying hydrodynamic approaches to study BECs subject to synthetic magnetic fields, and explores BdG excitations within the effective mixture model of the stripe phase.
