The Business University Program (PUE) of the Faculty begins a cycle of conferences on Women’s Leadership, with which it aims to visualize the trajectories and positions of women in different areas. Precisely the objective of the PUE is to improve the quality of employability of students and, with this cycle, of future managers or entrepreneurs.
The first session will be on Wednesday, September 20 at 11:15 in the Faculty Assembly Room, led by Neus Arqués and with the title Impostors and stupendous: Visibility and female leadership.
Neus Arqués, with a diploma in Translation and a degree in Political Science from the UAB and a master’s degree in International Politics from Johns Hopkins University, is a writer who is interested in understanding and sharing the mechanisms that determine whether a subject or a topic is more visible than others. It deals especially with the visibility of women and writers.
Her first jobs were as a translator and conference interpreter. Then came his institutional stage at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. She has been an OSCE observer for Bosnia.
In 2000 he founded his own communication company. Currently he is dedicated to writing. She has published 17 fiction and non-fiction titles and is currently immersed in filming her first documentary series. Likewise, he provides training in Visibility Management in various postgraduate programs.
