Open Call: PhD Position at ICTA-UAB within the PHYNEST Programme

We are looking for a doctoral candidate to join our team at the Institut de Ciència i Tecnologia Ambientals (ICTA-UAB) to work on research related to anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. The successful candidate will be enrolled in the Environmental Science and Technology doctoral programme at UAB and supervised by an interdisciplinary team including Vanessa Monteiro, Gara Villalba and Ariane Arias.

Title: Pathways to circular and regenerative urban agriculture through stakeholder-informed approaches. / Conventional agriculture typically relies on linear production systems that degrade soil and undermine sustainable resource management and climate change mitigation. Urban and peri-urban agriculture has the potential to shift from conventional approaches towards circular strategies that enhance soil health.
