Agustí Lledós was born in Barcelona (Spain) in 1955. He obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 1984. After a postdoctoral stay at the Université de Paris-Sud, he returned to UAB where he started a research group devoted to the computational study of organometallic reactivity. He has been Full Professor of Physical Chemistry at UAB since 1994 and Group Leader of the ‘‘Molecular Modeling of Transition Metal Systems’’ group. His research focuses on the computational modeling of the organometallic reactivity and homogeneous catalysis processes, with emphasis on reaction mechanisms. He received the ‘‘RSEQ-Bruker Award for Physical Chemistry’’ in 2008. Since 2012 he has been the vice-president of the Spanish Chemical Society (RSEQ).
