Pilar Pineda Herrero is a pedagogue and a PhD in Educational Sciences. University Professor in the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Professor of Education and Work, and Training in the organizations at the UAB. Specialist in planning and evaluation of training for work. Member of the competitive research group IJASC on Educational Action in Childhood and Youth (SGR 2021SGR01143) – https://www.udg.edu/ca/grupsrecerca/ijasc -, and director of the EFI group on Continuing Education Effectiveness.
She has counselled several public and private entities on issues related to lifelong learning. She has led several research projects on the development and implementation of systems to evaluate the effectiveness of training; she also researches on other topics such as vocational education and training, with special attention to the dual modality, participatory evaluation of educational interventions, the success factors of higher education, the effectiveness of teacher training , etc. She is the author of 5 books and several articles on continuing education and other issues of education and work, published in national and international journals.
