Abstract:

Meeting of the DANL Research Program, “Dynamics of Actors and Networks Across Levels” (6th-8th April 2010)

Preface

We now have various activities going on that are the basis for this meeting:

The DANL project as such, which now has ended in most of the participating groups;

the book project “Social Network Dynamics by Examples”;

the newly submitted ECRP-VI project “Social Influence in Dynamic Networks” (but two of the groups participating there, from Ljubljana and Turku, were not invited to this meeting because it seemed better to concentrate on the two activities mentioned above).

The past meetings of our research program have increasingly included something of the nature of an “Advanced Siena Users’ Meeting”.

In this meeting we will discuss the proposal to transform our meetings to two coupled meetings: one being about the book project, the other being an Advanced Siena Users’ Meeting. If the ECRP-VI project proposal will be awarded, the meetings of this research program can also be joined to these.

The program is flexible and will be adapted according to our needs during the meeting.
