Random Access Codes are natural data base tasks that were originally introduced in classical communications. Their quantum counterparts have attracted much research interest, partly due to interest in the tasks themselves and partly due to the fact that they serve as an important platforms for many applications and foundational concepts in quantum information science. In this talk, I give a broad and introductory overview of Random Access Coding with quantum resources and its applications.
