As a follow-up to the lectures on DMRG, somebody might be interested in a more practical session to learn the use of the DMRG code in fortran we currently use in the simulations. The code can be found here: www.dmrg.it In this class, I will explain how to use the DMRG code for finding the ground state of the one-dimensional Bose-Hubbard model. I will discuss the ground state energy, the gap, the phase diagram and the correlators.
