Collective many-body quantum systems, such as ultracold atomic platforms and Bose-Einstein condensates, offer promising paths toward scalable quantum technologies. However, characterizing and verifying genuinely quantum properties in such systems remains highly challenging as the system size grows, specially under realistic experimental constraints where full tomography and individual particle addressing become infeasible.

In this talk, I will present an overview of my previous work and current research interests focused on scalable and operational certification of nonclassical phenomena under minimal assumptions. I will discuss methods based on permutation symmetry and collective observables, including results on symmetric multipartite entanglement and Bell inequalities, as well as the challenges associated with certifying nonlocal correlations in Bose-Einstein condensates and alternative approaches based on generalized contextuality. Finally, I will discuss ongoing efforts toward certifying nonclassical correlations in split Bose-Einstein condensates using collective and semi-device-independent approaches, which have motivated the derivation and characterization of higher-dimensional permutation-invariant Bell inequalities.
