PhD candidate, Nathaly González Acevedo has received a grant for a short research stay from the first call of the YERUN Research Mobility Awards, after passing an extremely tough vetting process. Nathaly will be working with Dr. Rebecca Clift , at the department of Language and Linguistics, University of Essex in areas of Conversation Analysis (CA), embodiment, and Multimodal CA. YERUN (Young European Research University Network) aims to support collaboration in education across universities and encourages the cross-fertilisation of ideas. The network also promotes enhancement and innovation of a research-led education to the benefit of doctoral students in the EU. YERUN received 142 applications of which there were only 26 successful applicants. Congratulations, Nathaly! We’re proud of you.
