The KONECT project has been well-represented these past weeks in 3 different conferences. First Melinda (with colleague and team member Dr. Randall Sadler of UIUC) presented results from their work at the American Association of Applied Linguistics 2018 conference in Chicago (USA), then Nathaly González Acevedo, Jelena Marjanovic and Saliha Özcan (PhD candidates and KONECT affiliate members) each presented their current studies at the 7th International Conference on Language, Medias and Culture (ICLMC) in Fukuoka, Japan. Nathaly then presented a different aspect of her research at the 20th International Conference on Linguistics and Language Learning in Osaka, Japan. It is worth mentioning that Jelena’s paper was awarded ‘best research paper’ at the ICLMC conference. Congratulations to her!
GREIP’s insight
Enhorabona a Saliha i Jelena pels seus premis de millors treballs de recerca en dues conferències internacionals! És una bona manera de tancar el projecte KONECT.
