On June 1st, Júlia Llompart, Emilee Moore and Claudia Vallejo presented a paper online in the conference ‘Language education for social justice 2021’. The communication, entitled ‘Developing linguistic and cultural repertoires for living in diversity: an example from a non-formal educational project’, included data from the IEP! and Global StoryBridges projects developed by GREIP members in Badia del Vallès. Young participants’ English learning practices were analyzed from the perspective of sociolinguistic scales and transidiomatic practices, to show how the after-school activities developed within these projects opened spaces for transcultural and translinguistic communication.
