GREIP members and collaborators have been invited to an exploratory research on Virtual Reality Immersion for Language Learning. Backed by long-time collaborator, Dr. Randall Sadler at the University of Ilinois Urbana Champaign (USA) and a private VR company, Melinda Dooly and Mónica López have been invited to take part in a pilot teaching porject and small research on the feasibility and potential learning gains stemming from immersive environments.
A tentative date for November 2021 is set for the launch in Mónica’s school. An exciting prospect but loads of planning, discussion and fun exploration must come first.
