Members from the GREIP team have participated in the recently launched book “Transmodal Communications: Transpositioning Semiotics and Relations”, edited by Margaret Hawkins (2021). In their chapter, entitled “Building Scalar Frames of Understandability in ‘Trans’ Practices within a Catalan Global StoryBridges Site”, Emilee Moore, Claudia Vallejo, Júlia Llompart and Miaomiao Zhang describe and analyze data from their work in Badia del Vallès, within the project GlobalStory Bridges, aimed at promoting English learning, digital literacies and critical cosmopolitanism by engaging youth from underresourced contexts in transnational and transmodal communications.
