On November 20, Jelena Marjanovic, GREIP PhD student, presented the data session “A design-based study of autonomous learning in telecollaborative flipped classroom: two case studies of pre-service teachers”. The data emerged from an 8-month long intervention designed to support two students in their technology-enhanced autonomous learning required by the final-year university teacher education courses, most importantly a course based on a combination of flipped classroom and telecollaboration. Jelena’s study aims at exploring the two students’ self-direction, self-regulation, metacognition and agency in learning, conceptualized as the main pillars of autonomous learning skills.
