As part of the KONECT project, students at St. Jordi school in Mollet del Vallès, under the tuition of GREIP member, Maria Mont, began their solidarity campaign to help out four Syrian refugee teen-agers. The aim of the interdisciplinary project is to help develop students’ sense of civic responsibility, social awareness and critical and creative thinking skills. Through arts and crafts (taught through English) these 2nd graders were introduced to the experiences of 4 Syrian refugees, then asked to design their own products to be printed in a 3D printer and exchanged for donations for the Syrian boys and their families.
