We are a group of researchers, placed at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, interested in:
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP
Study the psychological processes involved in the emergence and maintenance of disorders related to externalized / disinhibited behaviors (especially difficult temperamental traits, conduct disorders and Cluster B personality disorders), individual differences in vulnerability to these disorders and their neurobiological and neuropsychological foundations.
MAIN LINES OF RESEARCH
- Conduct disorders and difficult temperamental traits in children and adolescent populations.
- Aversive and appetitive neural systems as dimensions of vulnerability to psychopathology.
- Self-injuries, emotional regulation and borderline personality disorder.
- Adaptation and standardization of instruments for the diagnosis and psychological assessment of externalizing disorders.
- Study biomarkers of vulnerability to developing these problems, including those related to stress response mechanisms.
