We are a group of researchers, placed at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, interested in:

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP

Study the psychological processes involved in the emergence and maintenance of disorders related to externalized / disinhibited behaviors (especially difficult temperamental traits, conduct disorders and Cluster B personality disorders), individual differences in vulnerability to these disorders and their neurobiological and neuropsychological foundations.

MAIN LINES OF RESEARCH

  1. Conduct disorders and difficult temperamental traits in children and adolescent populations.
  2. Aversive and appetitive neural systems as dimensions of vulnerability to psychopathology.
  3. Self-injuries, emotional regulation and borderline personality disorder.
  4. Adaptation and standardization of instruments for the diagnosis and psychological assessment of externalizing disorders.
  5. Study biomarkers of vulnerability to developing these problems, including those related to stress response mechanisms.
