Visiting researcher at Ohio University (USA), Diego Portales University (Chile) and Universidad Javeriana (Colombia). Member of the International Scientific Committee of the ART-UNDP Initiative. She is an associate professor in the Department of Journalism and Communication Sciences (UAB), Vice-President of the Mediterranean Observatory of Communication (OMEC)
Academic status and research lines
– Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Communication Sciences (UAB), Vice-President of the Mediterranean Observatory of Communication (OMEC). Consultant for the EC and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), among other national and international organizations. Has professional experience in development and international cooperation, culture, press and development of methodological tools
– As a researcher she is part of three research groups: the Laboratory for Prospective and Research in Communication, Culture and Cooperation (LAPREC-UAB), the Research Group on Social and Institutional Communication (CSiI-UdG) and INCOM-UAB. He has conducted 4 research stays abroad at universities in Colombia, Chile, the United States and Cuba
– He joins teaching in masters and doctorate, in various degrees and universities in Spain and in other countries, mainly in the emerging field of “Communication and ICT for development and social change”
– As for scientific production, has published several articles in indexed journals and I have participated and organized international conferences. Notably, he has published books and book chapters resulting from research, teaching manuals and methodological manuals published by international organizations (EC, UNDP) as a university-society transfer. These manuals are being applied by programs and institutions in Spain, Latin America and the southern Mediterranean
