I have been a Ph.D. student in the optics group at UAB since February 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Alessio Celi. I have been working as a theorist in collaboration with the internationally recognized Ultracold Quantum Gases group at ICFO led by Prof. Leticia Tarruell. My line of research focuses on proposing feasible experimental schemes to use ultracold quantum gases as quantum simulators for topological gauge theories.
