Depending on the requester’s requirements and the necropsy macroscopic findings we precede with the tissue processing. This can include:
• Formalin fixation and paraffin embedding.
• Formaldehyde/Glutaraldehyde fixation for ultrastructural studies.
• Fast freezing in cryomolds with OCT.
• Fast freezing without matrix.
• Others to agree.
