Members of the team gathered at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) on January 30th-31st to analyse the challenges and set out the lines of work for the next two years.
Academics, researchers, and members of the cultural organisations within the WIRE project gathered on January 30th-31st to kick-off this EU funded initiative that aims to link the current knowledge on the role of women in resistance movements and the promotion of historical awareness among the public.
The WIRE consortium is coordinated by the UAB and includes cultural institutions, public authorities, victims’ organizations, research and archive institutes, universities, commemorative and learning sites, museums and public agents from four countries: the Villa Decius Association, from Poland; the Scuola di Pace di Monte Sole, in Italy; the Contemporary Social History Archives (ASKI), in Greece, and the Memorial Democràtic, from Spain together with UAB.
