The WIRE project will culminate in Catalonia this October, marking the end of a journey through Greece, Poland and Italy. The final stop of the Memory Route will focus on women’s resistance during the Spanish Civil War, with visits to key memorial sites. This will be followed by an academic conference with experts from several countries and the premiere of the play “Caure” (To Fall), which brings to life the experiences of women under the dictatorship. The project will conclude with an open debate and the launch of the online exhibition on women’s resistance, which will present all the multimedia resources created by the students during their journey.
