Research

My research interests are immersed within the areas of Political Ecology and Science, Technology & Society studies, particularly in the way that landscapes -as biocultural assemblages- are configured and reconfigured by human and more-than-human agencies. I am currently finishing my PhD research (at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) on pastoral commons in northeastern Andalusia (Spain), biocultural configuration of landscape, conservation and socio-ecological heritagization. I have done ethnographic fieldwork both in Chile and Spain. I am also part of the association Iniciativa Comunales, an entity oriented towards the support and recognition of the commons in Spain.
