Research
My research topics focus on Social Reproduction, Sexual and Reproductive Rights, Child Development, Parenting and Culture, Community Care, Rituality and Traditional Medicines. My research work has been located mainly in ethnic communities of the Colombian South West, particularly in Afro-descendant communities settled in the South Pacific of Colombia. I am a collaborator in the Collective of Latin American Studies (CELAB) of the UAB, a network of Latin American researchers in Catalonia focused on disseminating knowledge about the region from different areas.
